Vasona After School Science Classes

Parents just wanna have fun, too! And, now they can by joining our new parent participation science classes. That’s right, you can be your child’s study buddy in these fun and engaging classes modeled after our standards-based School and Group Programs. Great for home-school families! You’ll dive head first into the world of geology, biology, physics and more with a hands-on approach to science. Each week will feature a unique and fascinating topic related to the monthly theme.
Ideal for home-schoolers. (Parent participation is optional.)

Location	All classes are held at YSI at Alum Rock City Park in San Jose, Sanborn County Park in Saratoga and Vasona County Park in Los Gatos.
Fees	Individual Class Fee: $30 per child Monthly Class Fee (4 classes): $100 per child
Times and Days	Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM October 6, 2009 – April 27, 2010 No classes the weeks of Thanksgiving and New Year's day, and the month of December.
Ages	Kindergarten – 6th grade
Registration	Call 408.356.4945 x16 to register. You must register by noon the day prior to the class. No same-day drop-in allowed.
