Thrift and Gift Store Racks The YSI Thrift & Gift Shop offers a wide range of previously-owned, items for sale. All proceeds go to support YSI and all donations are tax deductible. Run entirely by the Guild’s 100+ volunteers, this community-centered store provides funding to YSI each year that equates to 10% of YSI’s operating income. YSI is grateful for this extraordinary on-going support, and is proud of the involvement of the Thrift and Gift Store in the Alum Rock neighborhood.

One year ago, with the Guild’s financial support, YSI was able to buy the building that is home to the Thrift and Gift Store, helping to ensure the stability of this operation and funding source for many years to come.
