The Youth Science Institute Summer Science Camp is designed for children in Pre-K (3 1/2 yrs) through entering 6th grade. Camps are held each summer at Alum Rock Park in San Jose and Vasona Lake County park in Los Gatos. With 25 science themes to choose from, our week-long 1/2 day camps offer a small-group learning environment in beautiful park-based settings.

Since 1953, YSI has inspired children's enthusiasm for science and love of learning, developed critical thinking skills, and forged connections with nature that foster personal health and earth stewardship. We hope you enjoy reading our Summer Science Camp Bulletins from this past summer.

Tosh Memorial Fund for Raptor Care

Tosh, the Red-tailed Hawk, educated tens of thousands of children and adults in 22 years with YSI. In her memory, we welcome your contribution to the Tosh Memorial Fund for Raptor Care at YSI. Our goal is to raise $5,000 for a year of specialized food.
